Their strategy is based on its competitive advantage and service capability. Raw materials are sourced in collaboration with strategic suppliers to ensure zero delays in raw materials. With its experienced management team and skilled local workforce this business has earned an outstanding reputation to both local and international customers. Its incredible success can be attributed to its three target market segments being National Chain via the DC’s / Distribution centres of National Chain stores, Independents and to the Export market. Bulk purchasing provides the advantage of competitive pricing. The business provides the manufacturing operation, the packing plants and the warehouses. Future plans are to expand manufacturing plants and promote charcoal grilling to substitute gas grilling. They have their own on site laboratory set up to perform the various quality tests as defined by the SABS as per SANS 1399 ED 2:2:2002 and currently maintain the highest level ISO 9001 and FSC accreditation. Online ordering is also growing creating additional competitiveness in the market. Productivity is managed through state of the art automation processes thereby reducing production times and improved stock levels.
